Episode Export

Configured under Settings → Advanced → Tools → Export episodes to folder...

Copy your "next episode" files to another location. Useful for offline viewing on trips, transferring to a portable device, or quick backups.

How It Works

  1. Select episodes (in Browse Mode) or trigger a full export (from Settings)
  2. Choose a destination folder
  3. EasyTV copies the actual video files

Using the Exporter

From Browse Mode

  1. Open Browse Mode (episode list)
  2. Open the context menu (C or menu button)
  3. Toggle on Multi-Select
  4. Select the episodes you want to export
  5. Open the context menu again and choose Export Selection
  6. Pick a destination folder
  7. Files are copied; progress is shown

From Settings

  1. Go to Settings → Advanced → Tools
  2. Click Export episodes to folder...
  3. Pick a destination folder
  4. EasyTV exports the current next episode for every show it tracks (one episode per show)

Export Details

  • Copies the actual video files. No shortcuts or symlinks.
  • Preserves original filenames.
  • Shows progress during the transfer.
  • Reports any failures at the end.

Limitations

  • Only video files are copied. Subtitles, NFO files, and extras are not included.
  • Large files take time to copy.
  • The destination needs enough free space.
  • Network destinations are slower than local ones.
